Executive Administrative Assistant

The Office of the Queens County District Attorney (QDA) is currently seeking applicants for an Executive Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to an Executive level Assistant District Attorney. The Executive Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties including, but not limited to:

  1. Assisting with project creation, maintenance, and organization
  2. Drafting correspondence
  3. Assisting with data entry, document uploads and searching for information in the office's Case Tracking system
  4. Compiling and analyzing documents
  5. Conducting general and legal research
  6. Accessing information in databases of various courts and government agencies
  7. Preparing and distributing reports to Executive staff
  8. Maintaining a calendar of appointments
  9. Assisting with other administrative duties, as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

Qualified candidates must have a Baccalaureate Degree or the equivalent education and experience. Must have the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively and have working knowledge of computers and email. Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.

Strong preference will be given to candidates with prior administrative experience, including experience with data entry into computerized systems and handling documents of a sensitive nature.
