The Office of the Queens County District Attorney (QDA) is seeking a Program Manager for its Rehabilitation and Restorative Services Bureau to oversee QDA-funded anti-violence programs throughout Queens County.
The Program Manager’s duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate program activities, including the application, award, and modification processes.
- Monitor and assess the performance of grantees to ensure the delivery of high-quality programming.
- Communicate program policies and procedures to grantees, ensuring they meet contractual goals.
- Conduct site visits and provide technical assistance to grantees throughout the contract period.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of grantee performance and compliance.
- Regularly meet and communicate with management regarding program goals and objectives.
- Liaise with QDA staff, as appropriate, regarding grantee programs.
- Compile data and create reports on grantees’ progress.
- Approve grantee quarterly performance and financial reports in accordance with program guidelines.
- Periodically attend grant-related events, as required, which may include some night and weekend hours.
- Collaborate on other projects and tasks as required.
Preferred Education and Qualification Requirements:
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem solving and analytical skills, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Previous experience working with and/or overseeing community-based programming is strongly preferred.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 (Commensurate with experience)
