The Queens District Attorney's Office is seeking applicants to join our Information Technology team for the summer. The Summer IT Support Technician will assist with technical support, system maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operations within the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment such as computers, printers, and mobile devices.
- Support the management of office databases and digital resources.
- Help with cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Assist with inventory management, tracking IT assets and software licensing.
- Work collaboratively with IT professionals on various technology projects and upgrades.
- Document technical issues and solutions to improve the efficiency of the IT helpdesk.
Qualifications:
- Current college or graduate student or recent graduate with a focus on Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking, software troubleshooting, and hardware setup.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows OS, and other common IT tools.

This is a temporary full-time, in-person position that will begin on June 9, 2025 and end on August 8, 2025.
Schedule: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Hourly Rate: Undergraduate - $19.00/hour
Graduate - $21.00/hour
