Description

The Office of the Queens County District Attorney (QDA) is seeking a Data Entry Analyst for its IT team that is responsible for the administration and management of a variety of IT applications, under the supervision of the Director of the Department of Application Support and Data Science (DASDAS). The Data Entry Analyst will be part of QDA’s overall IT Department which consists of a staff of 27 and serves an office of over 850 staff.

The IT Data Entry Analyst’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods.
  • Manage, analyze, compare, and organize agency application records and files.
  • Prepare and print relevant reports as needed.
  • Provide general data entry support across many teams on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Support various operations status, engineering review and problem boards.
  • Prepare presentations for submission to staff and internal management.
  • Generate and compile letters for the Record Room and ensure that they are sent to verified and correct addresses in the system.
  • Build and execute select unit test plans in coordination with functional teams.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as at least 2 years of data entry or related office experience.
  • Must have strong computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately.
  • Candidates must have strong attention to detail, the ability to think analytically, excellent written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking capabilities, work well under pressure, manage competing priorities and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be comfortable operating general office equipment including computers, telephones, scanners, calculators, and photocopiers etc.
  • Candidates who have achieved relevant industry certifications are preferrable.

Qualified candidates who possess a permanent New York City civil service title will be given preference for this position.

  Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401K and more. Salary commensurate with experience.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000
