The Intake Support Staff Manager will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties including, but not limited to:
- Preparation and supervision of the preparation of reports and statistics for meetings with the District Attorney and Chief Assistant regarding matters including arrest to arraignment, complaint sworn time, Electronic Monitoring, Raise the Age, precinct and crime data, DATs, 343s, bail analysis, including CPL510.10-4-t, retail theft and other bureau matters.
- Creation and assistance in development of bureau power points, manuals, training materials and reports.
- Providing administrative assistance for Bureau Chief as needed.
- Assembling and creating templates and various schedules for supervisors, ADAs, TPAs and support staff.
- Retrieving and reviewing time sheets for ADAs and supervisors in Intake.
- Reviewing and approving the timesheets of all support staff assigned to the Intake Bureau.
- Creating and preparing templates and schedules for the Intake Extra Shift Program weekly, monthly and quarterly.
- Compiling payment requests for the Intake Extra Shift Program.
- Reviewing, coordinating and preparing spread sheets for payment of Intake transportation services.
- Coordinating with Bureau Chief and Administration regarding payment of monthly Intake transportation invoices.
- Reviewing and overseeing stock and supplies for the Intake bureau, which includes ordering and keeping track of paper, folders, toners, ink cartridges, other office supplies and deliveries; as well as ensuring drawers are filled with supplies as needed.
- Managing and overseeing duties for all Intake Support Staff. Training and supervising new and current Support Staff regarding preparation of all relevant documentation including but not limited to bail sheets and folders for court, answering phones, delivering court runs and preparation of bail statistics.
- Providing coverage for clerical staff who are out on vacation or unexpectedly ill when needed.
- Supervising status and maintenance of all copy machines, printers and order of protection printers. Making service requests for the bureau when needed.
- Performing other relevant duties as determined by EADA and/or Bureau Chief.
Preferred Education and Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies or related area or equivalent education and/or experience. All candidates must have at least a high school diploma or its educational equivalent.
The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, as well as strong attention to detail and a proactive approach, including strong follow-up skills, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines. Adherence to strict requirements regarding legal records management, data protection, and privacy/confidentiality is imperative.
Preferred Skills:
- Candidates with experience as a Trial Preparation Assistant or Paralegal with a District Attorney Office.
- Candidates with supervisory experience.

Applicants must be willing to work evenings (12p.m. – 8 p.m.), weekends, and holidays.
Salary Range: $84,000 - $89,000
