The Office of the Queens County District Attorney (QDA) is seeking a Clerical Assistant to help support the Felony Conferencing Bureau. The Clerical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of clerical duties including, but not limited to:
- Securing daily court calendars, setting up cases and finalizing the calendars for each designated court part in QDA’s Case Tracking system
- Printing orders of protection
- Scanning, uploading, and mailing copies of court-issued orders of protection to complainants
- Creating and filing case folders
- Sorting and sending status sheets to designated bureaus
- Securing and filing all completed calendars from Felony Conferencing Bureau ADAs
- Answering telephone and in-person inquiries
- Assisting with data entry and document uploads into QDA’s Case Tracking system
- Assisting in various court rooms, when necessary
- Ordering office supplies
- Assisting with other clerical duties as assigned
Qualified candidates must have at least a high school diploma (or its educational equivalent) and the ability to manage and answer multiple phone lines, take and deliver complete messages and communicate effectively. Must have working knowledge of computers and email.
Strong preference will be given to applicants with previous clerical experience including handling multi-line phones, filing, data entry and picking up/delivering sensitive documents.

Salary Range: $42,092 - $47,000
